Rough Heel…Eeewww
Posted on March 8th, 2010 in cracked heel
My heel is disgusting. I guess I got this from wearing too much flipflops. I did some remedies already like scrub, expensive lotions but it’s still the same way. I went to Beauty Bar last Sunday looking for a product that might help me with my problem. My SIL asked me what I was looking for. So I told her about my problem and apparently she had the same problem. She told me to use Ellgy. I remember the product because I have used it before for a bit of cracked heel. Why did I not think of it? Probably because it was just rough skin, but could have gone worst if I didn’t start applying. I wonder what causes cracked/rough heel?
Update: My friend over at StyleBeautyandMore has a very helpful tip when it comes to dry and rough heels. You can also pick up a tip or two about style, beauty and more over there. Visit her!
Fact or Fiction: Krisa and Regine Velasquez have the same remedy for rough heel.

hey Girlie! I used to have really rough heels too but 4-5 months ago I started using vaseline petroleum jelly. Every night before I go to bed and after my shower I apply a generous amount on my feet and then I put a pair of old socks on. I sit on the bed for a little while, watch TV, read a magazine. I do this for 10-15-20 minutes. When I am ready to go to bed I take my socks off coz I can’t sleep in them. Actually it’s much better to leave the socks on all night because it will lock the moisture in but like I said I can’t sleep in them so I take them off.
My heels are very smooth now. I don’t see any dry areas. Sometimes when I apply vaseline I admire my feet coz they are so smooth. My toenails are growing healthy too. I reckon because of the routine I do almost every night. The moisture in the vaseline work wonders.
Applying the jelly on my feet is a ritual to me now. It’s like brushing teeth.
What’s more is it is so affordable. I can get a big tub of vaseline jelly for $4 and it works well for me.
I think I will post this on my blog because it’s kinda long. LOL.
